hey im looking at getting another tire rim set for my klx 250 2008 and just wondering if the kx 250 2008 rims slash tires will fit. Just found some for sale. had a look at size and the front is the same just the rear is 110/90/19. were the klx has 100/100/18. will this matter plus will the axels and brake rotters and cain ring all line up fit. just haven't been able to find info online just tire sizes so thought id pick your guys brains. thanks

19 fit on a 18? no.

 

Those models will not interchange, there are lots of differences.

You say you have an '08 model, so I assume this means you are not in the U.S. In the U.S., the '06/'07 models will interchange wheels with a KLX300 and I think KDX200/220, but the '09+ models will not (entirely different speedometer drive and brake rotor diameters).

 

thanks guys ill look more into it. just looking to get another rim set brand new is way out of my price tag and getting sick of riding on the farm with road tires and just had a crash were i broke the gear leaver and broke something in the gear box cause of road legal tires slipping out on a hill so 1000 bucks and 5 weeks with out my bike is killing me. so wanted to get full another set i can swap over when wanting to go off road.

I just got a set of 95 KDX wheels that fit my 07 KLX.
