Default Maybe I need new tires.

I have no idea how old the tires are on my KZ750. I doubt it, but they could be as old as the bike for all I know. (25yrs) Anyway, the compound on the tires are so hard, I launch the bike hard from a stop and I just do a burnout! Has anyone here ever had motorcycle tires that were this hard? I think maybe it's about time for some new ones.

How does your normal visual checks come out for the tire? Cracking, colors of the tire and the fingernail check? If you cannot dent it with a nail, than it is too hard. What are the tire pressures? You happy with your sag numbers?

Well the tire pressure is good; there is good tread wear on the tire with no weather cracks. These tires are continental blitz, so maybe somebody would know how long ago the blitz tires were made? I think by next year I'll replace them anyway.

whats the tire size, when you launch a bike, you have to to feather the clutch on any tire, or it will spin
