OK. So once mine's had it's first service at 1000kms, what intervals do you recommend for oil, filter and air filter changes/clean?

Air filter when it's dirty, just check it often.
Do my oil and oil filter every 1500km.
BTW, you would want to change the original oil and filter at 250km (it'll be dirty by then) and 1000km for the braek in period. Then go to the 1500km interval.
That was how I did it. No problems so far.

Thanks, mate. Actually, that's pretty much when I did first oil/filter change (278km's to be precise!). Oil was fairly dark, but no crap on filter that I could see. Have now done 500kms and oil still looks a good colour through sight glass. Oil/filter is changed again at first service.
Haven't checked air filter to date, as bike hasn't been through much water/mud. However, will keep an eye on it now as the summer approaches and trails get dusty. This gets cleaned etc at first service also.
Am breaking it in as I intend to ride it - vary revs, no lugging and no hard-out screaming.
Real pleased with bike to date. Roll on summer!
