As is, history: 06 10r beautiful green ride! lol Installed the Penske triple and the Traxxion Ak-20's on her. Ordered the springs which I was told plus or minus body wt that would work. Anyhows, they did not. Static sag was great, rider sag too stiff. Dang. So now have the new springs in(but not installed yet) to try out. I weigh in at 178lbs with gear, 1st set of springs:.95kg fr springs, 525lb rear. Changing to a .925kg fr spring and 500lb rear. The ss brake lines will be rerouted and new rubber(non oem dunlop Q's) spooned on at the same time. I am a kid in a candy store right now! lol

 

sounds like a sweet deal. post some pics when its all done. and a review on the pensky shock, i was contimplating a hyperpro, a ohlins and a pensky but havent read anything about them.

 

cool deal Drag..... sounds like fun. I just put on some qualifiers and man they rock. i went to do a rolling break in burnie hehe in the shop and pulled the wheel up instead. Sticky atleast stickyer then the sportmax I had on there.

 

so wait, now your doing wheelies in the garage now too. [8D]

 

A shop is alot bigger then a garage but yeah I gess you can say that lol

 

lol, the best pic in the world on the ride will not distinguish internal mods. Looks like a stock ride except for the remote reservoir.

 

Sounds great, you get so much more out of the suspension mods. I have read only good things about the Penske shocks and I believe they are less pricy than the Ohlin’s stuff.
I opted to rebuild and put new springs on mine and saved 1500 bucks.

 

nothing like a heart transplant to dial in your stock rear shock. kick *** and it usually runs about 180.00 bucks.
