Hello all,

You fellas won't believe the excitement I felt today!!!! Just picked up my new (used) 2001 ZX6-R. The only time I've ever rode before was the time in the MSF course a week ago, riding those 150cc standards. What a difference!!! Rode my new yellow zx6r around the block a couple of times today and I still have the same stupid grin on my face!!!

SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Welcome to the forum. I hope you have many enjoyable experiences on your bike. You may want to begin looking for spare parts now,(like starter, alternator, plastic, etc.) if you plan to keep the bike very long. Take it from someone who owns an outdated ZX9. I was fortunate to get many items fromsomeone on a different Forum who was in a wreck and decided to upgrade to a newer bike, a few years ago.Your wallet will thank you later.
