Sink drains will be larger than 1 1/8". Thanks though.

Am going to look more closely at the DB Dawg.

Note, I do not own a welder or CNC equipment. Most here don't care about noise and others will have more equipment to modify parts.

Maybe the solution is stop fighting the KLX and get a KTM and be done with it.

In a house yes they are 1 1/2 but not in a camper. I just went out to my 30ft camper and sure enough there's your exhaust screen. Lol 1 1/8 I checked!

Ordered up one of the dirtwerks DB-Dawg inserts. It will go in my Q4 and in addition to the existing "quiet" core insert. Hoping it will knock another 4-5 db's off. If that doesn't work, will spend a little more time eyeing those KTM EXC's.

Yes, Keep us posted,, I have a guy here who can make any exhaust to the spec i want.

He has offered me this fake FMF for $ 90 .

I asked him if he can make custom mufflers and headers, no worries. So once you see what works for the muffler, i will ask him to make,

And if anyone wants one, Let me know.

Cheers
George

Dirtwerks wrote back and said the piece I need is NLA and db-dawg is out of business.

Does this guy have a site or some way to contact directly? Already know what I want, if he can build it I would be very interested in chatting.

He lives in Indonesia where i am. I have just ordered one of his exhausts just for a test to see how it is. ( I want a quite exhaust for touring. )

His English is also not so good.

I would wait until i get the one he is making for me now, Just to see the quality of workmanship. Then if you want you can give me the specs, and i will get one made to see how it is.

George
