Default Preparing to rejet 09

Hello all

I purchased a new 09 a few weeks back and have been breaking it in, it has a little over 100 miles now. Like others my bike is difficult to start when cold and after it has warmed as well.

After reading many posts about this I will be ordering a Dynojet kit from JC Motors this week. I am planning on ordering the 2206 kit for the 300.

Is that the kit I should get? I also plan on getting a new air filter but am unsure which to get, k&n, moose, ect and plan on experimenting removing the airbox lid.

I fitted acerbis rally pro hand guards which was a pain, but at least I expected it after reading all of the info here first. I ended up cutting the plugs out rather than tapping them.

Thanks

I'm not even going there on which jet kit or order. Too many opinions. Do what you feel is best. Kinda like what kind of hand guard to buy, which tires, etc.

Oh forgot, my kouba screw is only two turns out now. Smelled real rich at idle the other day. Haven't noticed any difference in performance except for running out of gas yesterday. I know the position of the kouba screw had nothing to do with that. Still working on that one.
