By December when I put the bike away I was 200 pounds. Of course, I changed my whoe diet around, too. I was forced to join a gym over the winter to which I still go every day..1/2 hour of cardio, 20-30 minutes of lifting. I have now been holding 192-195 steadily. In a few more weeks I am hoping the snow is gone enough to get back at it! My wife wants to ride the KLX. I really need to shorten it up an inch or two for her. I am actually gonna look around to see if anyone makes a seat instead of messing with the suspension, as she is a tiny little thing....I think she can get away with a little less cushion in the seat...she will only take it on short blasts anyway, and if she takes it to work...it is less then a mile away! Now...I hope I can still hold my Street Glide up!! LOL

Way to go dude!

I enjoy pedal bikes as much as motor bikes.

I'm with you anomad. Totally stock, mine tops out at about 82 mph (indicated). That's with a pegged throttle and tucked riding position. But it'll cruise along at 70 no problem. Now, with a 13T CS sprocket, the top speed is lower, but speed limits on highways around here are no higher than 55 anyway, so I usually don't go much past that.

Wow great weight loss. Keep up the good work.

Niner One Nine
Titus TI 29er FS MTB bike and recumbent road bikes.

Diabetes help me learn how to eat right and work out allot. What I get kick out of is riding with some young bucks and leaving them far behind when they finally catch up, out of air and look at you and ask: How old are you? "I just say two years on the down hill side of fifty."

It certainly just amazes me the common ground we all share.

What better way to lose weight than in the mud on two wheels!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of KLX's and mountainbikes...hmmm...familiar colors.

In these parts the Nomad is known as GONAD, something about that decreasing standover height. Nice bike, just gotta be careful when you power out on climbs.
