Can anyone confirm if new cables/hoses would be needed on an '09 SF? Thank you!

Plan to order soon. I wish that all of my bikes had 135mm grips like my old FJ. My big hands are so tight on these!

Has anyone fitted alternate fork caps to that sag was easily adjustable? I did this to my old CB-1 and it was a great, and cheap, addition. Thanks!

Hey all. QQ about suspension sag on the SF.

On my street and track bikes starting with rider sag (and proper spring rates) of front ~35mm and rear ~30mm.

Off road seems like 1/3 sag on rear and 15-20% sag on front.

I'm currently at 50mm on the front (should be ~35?) and 45mm on the rear (should be 68?) That seems like a dramatic change. Have I got it all wrong? Spring rates are pretty close for my weight.

How about cold and hot tire pressure for "all pavement" SuperMoto work? I ran last weekend and just kept taking air out between sessions, but never had good grip on these S22 tires. Thanks!

Shinko 705 I usually keep around 38 for fairly aggressive riding on the road. As for sag usually about a 1/3 front and back

Gotcha, thanks. I was running ~30 hot front and back (27 cold) and guys were suggesting down to 22 cold.

I'm running 25% rider sag in front and 33% in rear. The rear doesn't feel too bad (aside from sliding all over under throttle), but that front really moves a lot! lol

I have racetech springs and gold valves desert settings front and rear makes a huge difference. Changing the fork oil every year might help to if you doing track days and probably shock oil every other year

May I ask your weight and the spring weight you went with on each end?

The stock rear is great for me. The front is a little light, but not much.

Hoping to dial it in enough to ride harder at the next SM day in a few weeks.

Well, I've written to most suspension places to see the options. RaceTech doesn't seem to have the springs that they recommend. While i'm waiting, I may shim these springs a little to try to stiffen things a bit without it completely sucking off road.
