Default Looking for casual motorcycle boots

Something that will look good with a pair of jeans. I commute to school and want something warm, waterproof, slightly protective, and will look normal with jeans.

Also looking for some nice gloves that will keep my hands nice and warm when it starts getting cold outside. I was looking at these specifically:

I doubt those perforated gloves will be very warm.

Handguards and a pair of good heavy leather gloves will keep your hands quite warm down to some pretty cold temps.

If you plan on riding below mid 40's you should look into some electric gloves.

for boots i would say some leather steel toe work boot. something along the lines of bluntstones but cheaper. i've been wearing a boot like this for over two years at work and on the bike and never had a problem.

as for gloves, perforated are no good for colder weather. again a nice full leather glove will be the best option, but you may want to look into grip heaters. they can be found on ebay for cheap.

that's what I use. It even looks like a regular shoe and the socks don't get clammy when you're walking in them

As for the hands, I highly recommend brush guards (cheap ones, no need for the two point lever guards for off-road). The block the wind really well, I got the Acerbis brush guards. I don't know how cold it gets in your area but with the brush guards, I don't really use my winter gloves that often anymore

Your knees will get cold with just jeans before anything else. At least that's been my experience. Gloves are more of a safety item that I take off if it is too hot. Full faced helmet will keep your face warmer.

For boots, when it's cold, I have some hunting boots that lace up pretty high and are meant for hiking in snow. Waterproof, warm, and don't get wet inside from sweat.

Snowmobiling gloves... can't beat them for warmth! Usually good for operating controls too, and they normally have some reflective piping on them as well.

I'm wearing a pair of merrell hikers. Water proof, over the ankle, grippy sole on the bottom, but good enough to be responsive on the controls. They are comfortable to walk distances in and look fantastic with jeans.
