Got the battery a few days ago and hooked it up tonight. The bike has been sitting since the end of President's day but it fired right up (after I remembered to turn the gas on). It doesn't seem to crank over as lustily as I remember, or that may be my imagination. I do have a 351 piston so the starter's got to do a bit of extra work.

Here's the initial trial. Any tips from the two of you who use this battery as to fitting it to stay in the battery compartment?

Battery weighs 0.6 lbs compared to 5.2 lbs for the OEM.

 

I installed the Ballistic and have done some miles on it.
I am very happy and the perfect start.
The saving in weight is considerable.
