We've always had a TW200E out at the Ranch. It never gets ridden but I keep it ready n willing.. So question is, can it be more than a playbike offroad / weak streetbike? They're so durned expensive for some reason..

Well mine feel just fine a 60mph with my TW and that's as fast as I can make it go. 
Being that you say "I can't imagine" tells me you have not ever tried them.
