Did some damage, fork leaking..
So thank you fellas for all your help. I didn't see those forks AgoosSS, any chance I could get a link from you?
Thanks ReaperFox. I think I'm going to wait for a used set from a 300 or a 250. The forks from the 300 haveto be pre-06' do they?
Last question I have is, is it "alright" to ride them like this for a bit? Or should I put the bike up until fixed?
Thanks fellas

Hope this link works. I have seen them cheaper and they come up for sale quite often. I can see the need in not wanting to wait. I think all years of KLX 300 forks will work. The only difference is a couple/few years ago they added the gold anodized look to the tubes like the ones you have. Now would also be a good time to put in the correct weight springs and some Race Tech Gold Valves or other suspension tuning.

I'm sorry your fork is messed up. That really is bad news and it will cost you some good money to fix it. I hope you get lucky and score a good deal on some used forks that will put you SAFELY back in the saddle.
Yeah, I know. Thanks man. I looked into it. Still, outta my price range. When I can wait for a under $100 set to come up on ebay. I know not as good, but I'm just a beginner trail rider... And plan on upgrading bikes eventually
