suggestions for leaking front fork work
Hi all, just went out to ride around the neighborhood and realized i had fork oil in rings on my fork (left side) oil on my caliper and on the floor in my garage. probably a few ounces all told. I am assuming with that volume that a seal failed but looking for some thoughts. Is this unusual or normal wear. Im not that hard on them but i do weight 218. I have a membership at an online manual forum. they show a conventional rebuild and an inverted rebuild which i am assuming that both apply. Curious if they both apply and which may is easier. Guess its time to buy the new springs i wanted!
Any suggestions on what all should be replaced would also help. assuming both seals, new springs (anyone have suggestions as to sizing and best places to get them would help) and any thoughts on how long this will take would be awesome!

Could be as easy as a piece of dirt in your seals. Read this. https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ght=fork+leaks
Good luck Dan

Inspect the part of the fork that slides in the seal for scratches or dings as they could have damaged the seal. Otherwise, like has already been posted, most likely dirt in the seal.
If the forks haven't been serviced in a long while, this would be a good time to do it and set them up correctly.

For springs I would recomend John at MotoPro. Good luck and hope its just removable dirt. From personal experiance I would not recomend you ride a bike with oil leaking on the front brake.
