Another 2009 leaky valve cover gasket

I got pissed and super glued it the valve cover. Just enough to make it stay in the grooves to get it installed. No leaks. RTV on the half moons

My 2009 leaked... nowhere near as bad as an old vw. I let it go until I checked the valves at 7000 miles. Valves were in spec and no more leaks. It's a tight fit even with the tank off. You want to make sure it's on right before snugging up the valve cover so you don't pinch it. 800 miles and no leaks.

I pinched mine after big bore kit, thought my gaskets were faulty because my motor was covered in oil. Pinched it right at the front of the motor where you can't see it.

Replaced the gasket yesterday. No need to guess the year of manufacture
