Fixing a Broken Spark Plug

Thumbs down Fixing a Broken Spark Plug

changing the plugs i noticed that my number one plug is broken off and stuck in the head other then the head is there any way to remove it without ripping off the head?

Havok, give us more details. What bike? Broken at the ceramic-to-metal junction, or (somehow) sheared at the threads? Post a pic if you can.

indeed, give more details. Normally the plug can be removed if the ceramic is broken with no worries.

inside piece aka the sparking part is in all together the thread and gap spacing it stuck in there i have a shop is giving me a guarantee they will remove and fix the threads without a problem cuz as per book time 4 hours to remove the head 4 hours to fix it and 4 hours more on the new head gasket and install on it
i have a 94 zx7 l2 750 ninja

wow, kinda sounds then like the porcelain bits are everywhere and really can be detrimental to the engine if not retrieved from the top of the engine. The Head removal, cam timing and clean up then on the other quote.

edit: In other words, clean up the mess and see where you are at.

no its in all together its the problem of getting a easyout or pulling the head now
