piston port, cdi setup most likely per the ke250 manual anyways. I do not have anything on the 100.

hey could i swap a charging coil with the exciter coil ? the bike runs good for a little while but then acts like its not getting any fuel i have been all through the carb and still its doing the same thing.

hey guys i got the bike running pretty good now, it was the points the were tweeked a little. if you could help me find what the points should be set at and what the dwell should be. i would be greatful along with everything else you all have helped me with.

something else i wanted to ask, im looking for more torque what do i need to do sproket wise to get this.

You can lower the gearing which will give you more revs at a given speed. For instance on the KLX250 the gearing is 14/42 most people want lower gearing for offroad riding, initially most will put a smaller sprocket on the front which raises the revs at a given speed. On the KLX250 it raises the revs at 60mph by around 600 revs and makes it easier to climb hills. The same effect can be done by putting a larger sprocket on the back 45 tooth being approx the same as putting a 13 on the front, however you will need a longer chain being 108 links instead of the 106 OEM chain.
