Oh. Yeah, I meant to change my decision on the bikes on here. Thanks by the way.
I don't know, 125s look to easy for me and a 250 will be perfect. Do you think a 250 for 5'4" is good?
I don't mean buy a 125. I mean use one for the initial training only. Some of the MSF courses supply them. If you've got a choice of bikes, grab one before anybody else does. You want a beaten up old pile of **** that you fall off, get back on and fall off again. Ideally you want it to be the school's bike, not yours. If you're not falling off, push it a bit harder until you do. Then when you get into the same situation on the road, you'll know what to do.
The whole point of a 125 is that it's dead easy - although if you got on a full power Aprilia RS125 or something similar you'd think very differently about it. The skills you need to learn aren't dead easy, so use the best tool for learning them.
Do the MSF course on something like an old CG125 and you'll come away with a good basic skill set to apply to your 250.
another thing to keep in mind when considering bikes is insurance. statisticly more of the gsxr's crash (probably due to popularity) so they tend to be more expensive.
