I wanna do a oil change to my Saki ZZR.... How much oil do I need and whats the best brand of oil and filter to use with it???

 

There is a lot of debate about that here. I have been using castrol full synthetic 5w30, look it up on their website, it says something about superbike oil. After I went synthetic I'll never go back, itfreed up some wasted horsepower. For a filter I was using k&n, but I am using a purolator filter now, just buy a good one, and don't useany fram products. I think it takes 4 quarts to fill it, check your manual or look on the engine to be sure.

Thanks for the greetings and the help......I thought that the bikes use ONLY Full synthetic!!!!! Looks like I'm doing oil change tomorrow.... I love my Saki ZZR

Who told you that? Whoever it was...they were wrong.The bikes will only get synthetic oil if you out it in there. Mfr's put reg. oil in them from the dealership.

 

That was good info.... Im going with Mobile 1 full synthetic T4 Motorcycle oil and 93 Sunoco gass.....
