you have to be the first person in the world to think that the stock heat shield goes back on with a aftermarket pipe. im not laughing at you but this thread is funny as hell.

Whatever...the diagram I got from Micron insists that the shield go back on with the can for track use.

p.s.s. cut those brackets that are facing upwards or remove them if they come off, they look like a two piece bracket, you dont need those either. it will trim it up more, and of course if you do take em off or cut em off throw them at something meaningful.

Ha...actually those vertical brackets you're talking about mount the exhaust to the frame so those have to stay...but I could probably throw the stock exhaust valve cable at my neighbor's car. That would be about as satisfying I think.
