Default -1 +2 question

well im thinking about just going ahead and throwing these sprockets on my bike, ive heard a lot about them, but only when theyre together with a full system and pcIII, in due time i will have the full akrapovic evo, and the pcIII, thats gonna be about 2 grand later HAHA, so my question is, will it be detrimental, or will it be a good thing, even without the exhaust and power commander?

the evolution is more quiet than the race, why not go with the race system? if you change sprockets you either gain top end and lose low end or vice versa.

With the -1+2 you will gain a lot of bottom end; Can you say WHEELIE? You will lose topend and fuel mileage. Also your bike will be spinning higher revs everywhere, especially on the freeway.

the evolution is the quiet street friendly noise control friendly pipe from what i know, the race system is the track pipe.

the -1/+2 is the best mod that I have done yet. Not to mention about the cheapest. I highly recommend it. I'm not too into wheelieing, and with this sprocket combo I can make the front tire do what ever I want. If I want to keep it down on a hard accel it stays down, if I want to count the stars it is done...

The race system is better; For racing IMO. Get a slip-on. These systems are much lighter than the stock muffler and flow a hell of a lot better. The race system is freer flowing and lighter. You'll lose some bottom end torque but gain top end power.

yea the evo system is like 1249... while the race is only...965, and i dont want only a slip-on, im thinking about getting into club racing and all that kinda good stuff, might be farfetched, but i wanna try my hand out hah, i thought tho, that since the evo system is titanium, isnt it goign to be a lot lighter then the race, which is stainless??

you are misunderstood, my full race system is titanium pipes, and a titanium canister with a carbon fiber end cap and the bracket that mounts the canister to the bike is also carbon fiber. i paid around, sh it hang on ill find the receipt.. ok i paid 1,085.00 for mine. the evolution, if you find it to be more expensive, its most likely because it has extra materials like more baffling built into the canister so its more quiet etc.. i really dont know much about the evolution pipe, i always put race pipes on my bikes. the whole system weighs about 8lbs i think, compared to the 20 something lb stock pos.
