Not all same model & ccbikes put out the exact same horsepower. For magazne tests, the manufacturers will go thru 20-30 bikes and find the one with the most HP and use that one for a test just so they can impress the readers and get them to buy ther products. I have ridden 2 identical bikes and one of them was a dog. The other was fast as heck. These were brand new ZX600's. Sometimes people just get lucky with a freak machine. My 03 with stock air filter and scorpion slip-on dyno'd at almost 108 HP on a Dynojet dyno with a downloaded map (not a Custom map). The 04 was supposed to have more HP and the 05-06's were supposed to have5 more HPthan the 04. I have read SportRider tests of the same model bikes 05 vs 06 (same) and there have been quite a bit of HP difference between them. All I'm saying is each bike is different even though they are the same year, model & size. It's like identical twins; they just look alike.
