I dont know how it is in your state, but in Texas all motorcycles must have a yearly inspection. A tire with cracks will not pass for safety concerns. Just something to think about.

 

hefty...the inspection is a joke....my cruiser is a 97 and has only been inspected once in its life...that was when she was bought. Sad thing is I ride with alot of cops...ehehee

 

Replace them. It's cheap insurance. Don't want to have a front end slide or a blowout. The rubber is hardened and not pliable; that's why it's cracking.

 

you are really better off replacing them i just had my pilot power just go on my 2002 zx6r i was lucky for the extended frame sliders there was no damage i swear by the frame sliders all bike should come with them stock
