Default wider tires on an ex500

tire options for an 88 ex500... low profile/wider... what fits?

you can do 120/70 or 120/60 up front. Some folks run as wide as a 150/60 out back but the rim is narrow enough that squeezing on a 150 changes the profile of the tire. I run a 140/70 out back and it works pretty well for me.

Techno - how is the handling when you go up to the 140? I've heard the bike isn't as nimble.

this is on the stock 16" rim? and by pretty well do you mean it's working just fine and you've seen no hinderances in performance or... ?
