Thanks I will have to post some pictures of a few of the other bikes we have done. We have a 93 Honda 900rr that we ripped off the whole rear end and redid it so now it has a 2001 R1 rear section. I will post pictures soon!

 

Excellent bike choice. I'm 5'1' and I started on the EX500 and it was truly a great bike, still is! Congrats and good luck . Keep us posted on your 2 wheel adventures out there.

Yea I don't like the screen either. The only reason we did that was because it was all scratched up and I didn't have the money to buy a new one. I plan on getting a new one very soon though!! And thanks!!

 

I just joined so this is my Hello... My GF has a Ninja 500 and I love riding it. It may be called a beginner bike, but it's a great bike for anyone who want's a fun but not too expensive ride. Lightweight, power for the freeway, great sound - you can't ask for much more. I even perfer it to my SV, believe it or not.

Hey, I am newer to the forum also.I am female, 5'5, 125lbs and love my 500! I've only been riding for about 4yrs. My 1st bike was a 650 savage,but decided to try a sportsbike once I got comfortable riding. I feel I made a good choice.My husband rides a 1800VTX but enjoys taking mine out every once in a while. I think you'll be quite happy with the 500. Good luck!
