hey welcome to the forum. your from san mateo right? nice to know another bay area rider has joined the forum. i live in marin. well any way. how tall are you? have you thought about dropping your bike about an inch or an inch and a half. i know it could be done. also it depends on your height. but ya theres alot of places in the city that will do that. hope that helps. maybe we could meet up and ride. well have fun, gear up and ride safe.[sm=massbounce.gif]

Welcome to the forums! You will sacrifice a little bit of handling when lowering your bike, but if it makes you more able to ride you bike safely... then its well worth it.

Hi. I ride a ZX-10R and had the same problem with being kinda short. My boyfriend lowered the bike for me and I am more comfortable riding now. You should try lowering the bike and see if it makes any difference to you and if not you can always put it back to where it was.

I agree with Remo on lowering it. Handling can be a little squirrely if your not careful.

Yea i just made an appointment for getting my suspension lowered this coming sat. I've been having problems leaning on the turns, seems like i want to push my weight on the handles most the time. I've tried resting my body on the tank but it still has somewhat of the same effect.

Oh yea i'm down to ride any time just let me know

So your gonna lower your bike. Thats great. How much are you going to lower it? And how much is it gonna cost you? Well it should make you feel alot better being on your bike. Or at least being able to put your feet down. Just be careful not to lean the bike too hard. Well gear up and ride safe.[sm=groupwave.gif]
