So I went through the Motorcycle safety class this weekend and after spending two days on a Honda Rebel 250, I couldn't believe how much better the 650 felt. It was like going from a go-cart to a car for the first time. At least the class is done and over with.

 

Congrats on finishing up the class - I know what you mean about how it feels, I felt the same way last year!

 

how much does the class cost now ? if i remember right i paid like 356.00 when i went like 40 years ago

 

$390 canadian will get you three days of instruction (it was 360 when I took it last year), not sure what it is for you guys down there though.

 

$350 at the Harley dealership got me 5 days of instruction and free drinks and sammiches.

 

PA finially did something right. They incourage all rider to take it so as long as you have a vaild motorcycle permit, the class is free!!!!

 

It was $180 here in Florida. I wish I would have gotten a discount for having the permit but oh well. I'm going to the DMV on Friday to wait in line [:'(] and to get the endorsement put on my license.

What's a break in period? Sorry to hear you dropped it, that's my biggest fear right now being a bike owner for the first time, that and large bugs. Be safe.
