Hi, I'm new here andI have a Q
Hi I am new to this forum
and I have a question ~
I am thinking of get a Motorcycle licence to get a ninja250
Just say if I have permit,
Taking MSF begineer's course will give me a licence??
Or
I must take a road test at MVC ??
if 2nd one is the way to get licence
MSF is just a kind of extra??
I thought
"permit-MSF-licence-buy a motorcycle"
and Im just not sure this is correct or not.
have a good day peoples~

RE: Hi, I'm new here andI have a Q
Well minpin, this is how it went for me in Georgia.
Went to MSF, they taught the basics. We had the practical test there. The next evening we had the written test. 3 weeks later I received something from the DMV (if you pass the MSF trainers submit the paperwork to the DMV) and please DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPE as you will have to retake the whole thing. That little envelope is meant to be opened by the DMV person. You go there, present the letter and the envelope and they take a pic and you get a new license, this one with an M endorsement.
So received license by taking MSF course. Hope this answers your question.

out in tx you dont have to take the course....so you could do it permit, driving test, license

you dont have to take the msf course at all. its not required but is highly recamended.

RE: Hi, I'm new here andI have a Q
I'd like to see ANY noob take the ride test on a ninja. They call it the impossible test for a reason
if you go to a dealership and get the bike, as long as you have a permit they will let you ride home, if not you'll have to find someone. my dealer does free delievery, ofcourse its just another reason for one of them to ride it to your house.
