Cut Out 3000rpm

I have a ZX12R 2005 model UK in uk. I put it away September 2015 in the garage, it was running fine when I put it away. I left fuel in it also. I came to start it up a year later and it was running really rough with barely any revs at all really low revving.
I started by replacing the spark plugs but could only get to the two outter ones left and right side which I replaced with new ones for that model.
It ran a bit better but not great. I thought then I would change the fuel which I did then I took off the fuel pump under tank the oval looking system and drained existing fuel from ages ago and it was like a cloudy lemonade so I guessed that might be moisture as it was stored in slightly damp garage for nearly a year.
I replaced this with clean fuel and I managed to change the two inner spark plugs with great difficulty and this made a huge difference getting revs up to 3000rpm when revving up. It sounds great upto 3000rpm then splutters and cuts out if I don't ease back on throttle, this is even if it standing or a run out???... I thought about taking fuel pump off again and looking at that and putting something like a fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank and running for a little while. Anyone else experienced this problem?.
