Default What i did today in Indonesia./

After discussing with Bill blue regarding my cyl head. I bored and tapped the hole for the temperature sensor. Fitted a copper washer to space it out a little. Fitted no problems. The throttle body mounting rubber holes were elongated to allow fitment to this head.
Barrel 331 barrel installed. Cylinder head installed, timed and torqued. Cams fitted with Cam retaining cap.
Is it worth doing the KLX 250 ( 300 ) camshaft mod by Marcelino with the 331 BB kit?

Thanks guys.

Rode to work yesterday as usual, which is uninteresting in itself. What is noteworthy was the application of knowledge picked up watching Keith Code's Twist of the Wrist video. My KLX gets an upsetting oscillation riding through a long sweeping elevated onramp to the HOV lanes where I live. At 70 mph a weave is set up due to the negative camber in the bridge deck sections with the bike leaned over at speed. I experimented with loosening up my grip on the bars, opposite of my survival reaction, and the bike settled out! Something to think about and apply/experiment with. The video at 35:00 covers gripping too tight.

Default Steering and forks.

Removed forks in preparation for fitting Racetech valves and springs.
Replaced head bearings.
Installed WER steering damper.
Had to cut and weld the head light bracket to allow the linkage to move freely.

got the unabiker rad guards boy these instructions suck and couple of the bolts are too short and i had to mill out the corner on the left side to fit over the bolt. Is it normal for the left side to stick out a lot further than the right?

I put these guards on years ago. They are a bit finicky but all the bolts were the right length and I did not have to modify them.

Same thing I've done for the last three months. Limped past it in the garage. Still waiting for my leg to heal.
