Maybe because the recall is free?

I have the same "problem", but only happens at very low speed, low gear and low gas level, and it's not very often - sometimes it will vibrate, other times it won't.
Not sure if it was after the recall or before. I've tried to pinpoint it, but just gave up.
It sounds like it's coming from the front and it's a plastic piece, not metal, that's vibrating. If you pull the side panel (can't remember which side) with you finger, at the bottom end of it right below the number plate, and let go, the sound is just about the same. The only plastic pieces I haven't removed from the bike, yet, are the fork guards and air box.

You running bark busters? Check the clearance between the end of the clutch lever & the buster, mine rattles like crazy after some field operations or contact with earth.

I thought about doing that also. I figured if the tank was the reason for the vibration and if I had to take it off, I might as well get the IMS tank. How do you like the IMS tank and what kind of mileage are you getting? Anyways, I might switch the screws around on the radiator shroud to see if that helps. The right shroud seems a little looser than the left, but not by much. A big bore kit will shake the hell out of a bike and everything needs to be bolt down perfect or rattles and vibration will happen every where.
