Default Where do the pink carb hoses go to?

Hello, I'm hoping one of you guys can help me out here. I bought a stock KLX250S carb to put on an offroad buggy (250cc CFmoto) and was wondering what the 2 clear pink hoses go to. Are these just for overflow or do they need to be attached to something?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Pink hoses? Dude...did you get a San Francisco model?

Seriously though, they're vent tubes. They will also overflow fuel if the bike is on its side, but they're primarily for venting. The normal bowl overflow is that tube at the bottom of the bowl.

Hahaha, God i hope not!

Thanks for the quick reply TNC, much appreciated! I thought they were just for venting but wanted to make sure. Now hopefully this carb will fit.

You're probably wondering why go with this carb, well the one thats on there now is a 30mm CVK china copy with electric choke. Buggy runs good but head is P&P and HP cam so need to upgrade the carb and this should be better than what i have and the price was good.

I'm aware of the carb's short comings but will do the nessesary re-jetting and other little things.

Thanks again for the help TNC!
