Yeah, I was thinking maybe I could put some sort of rubber covers or something to increase height of pegs instead... but I like them at the height they are now and don't want to compromise the metal spiky grip the pegs currently have for when I get bike and myself covered in mud.

EDIT - I do just want to try TNC's method though.... once it's in the vise, what do I use to actually apply pressure and bend it? I feel like it still may be hard for me to get enough leverage on it.
The pad end of the brake pedal isn't that large, so I just used an old fork tube for leverage. I extended the tube down to the point about where I wanted the small bend to start. Probably any decent length of pipe that will fit over the foot pad will do.

Heat will help the bending process.

Excellent! Thanks guys.

I do have a heat gun with a high setting that may help bending process. Now I just need big screws to secure my vice on my work bench, and a pipe of some kind to apply leverage.

Get a metal pipe and put it on the end of it to increase leverage and slowly pry down and measure the distance.

Yes, same problem over on the shifter side for those with bigger feet and/or MX boot clearance for some...even with changing the spine orientation. For many the shifter is too short. Many of us have gone to the Honda XR650L shifter that you can tweak a tiny bit to clear the generator case. Got mine from MSR...inexpensive. So much better for a lot of us.

I was hoping to move the shifter up to wear my boots to the snirt run on tug hill this saturday but it looks like ima have to order a longer shifter and wear my rubber boots for now.

If you're creative, you can cut and weld in an extension on your existing shifter to make it longer.

Or can get the welder where you work to do it.
