Just put in a order for a set of pro taper Carmichael bend bars se and new grips. See how I like um when they come in.

So i just set the bar on the bike to see how they will look until it get warmer till i can swap them out and it looks to me that the Carmichael's are a lot shorter than the stock bars. Am I seeing things?

 

I don't see a Carmichael bend on this list, but this might help you out a little bit?

Congratulations on buying the most fun bike to ride and work on in its category.

I bent my stock handle bars about three days after getting my KLX home. I simply went to the local off road shop and looked at the bars on the wall. I ended up just buying Renthal YZF 450 (that's a four wheeler) 7/8 inch bars because they were in stock. I brought my stock bars with me to compare the dimensions of course. I have been riding with those replacement bars for about four years now with no more bending and no problems using the bike.
