Welcome Marc, Reading the Hodaka name reminded me of my first bike. I was 14 in 1976 and my step dad (he was the best) bought me a used Hodaka. Here is a picture of the exact bike I had.

Good times. There was something about that first bike and it being a Hodaka. It was like not very many people heard of them or owned one, you knew even at that early stage that you were riding something special. I to this day still can't remember why we sold it. I must have been behind in my grades or something.[8D]

Hi Marc,
My first bike was a 1975 Kawi KE100, http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/kaw...e_100_1975.php a complete tank but maybe that was a good thing, considering all the trees I bounced off of. My friends called me bulldozer Bob because when I fell all the time I did it like superman and the sand would funnel into my face, LOL. I got one of those full face goggle/mask setups which helped, kind of. My next bike was a 1980 RM 125, I was in heaven. My favorite bike was the KDX 200 I just parted with. Mustang, love the pic of the road toad, my friend had one but it didn't look that nice.
