So if a guy goes from a 130/70r17 to a 140/60r17 does do need a get new tire tubes as well? the tires I'm looking at don't come in a 130 or a 70 so just wondering about needing new tubes to install the new tire?

I wouldn't worry about it. The tubes will stretch that much, safely.

If I was running a 250 SM I'd be staying with the 130 if at all possible. More tire will eat power. It may look good, but the smaller lighter tire will take less power to spin.

But that's just my thoughts.
