I won't bother to help you out when you ask about gearing, jetting, exhausts, free mods, getting your oil filter spring thingy to stick when re-installing it, adjusting your suspension and what's important to do first before you do that, etc..........

WHEW.."bunch of wimps" "that time of the month". From the quote below, it seems that you are more thin skinned than what I could garner from his "sarcastic" response.
I'm sure there are plenty of others who will be glad to help him.

btw, you still didn't answer my question. I'm assuming because you were concentrating so hard on your sarcastic response. I guess if you come on here with that as your opening attitude I won't bother to help you out when you ask about gearing, jetting, exhausts, free mods, getting your oil filter spring thingy to stick when re-installing it, adjusting your suspension and what's important to do first before you do that, etc..........

Welcome! I still think the KLX is the perfect trail bike. I love mine every time I get on it. It's so easy to ride and not too intimidating off road. Kawasaki made a great bike.

I live in Houston.,,and do my off road riding around Corrigan.(Davy Crocket NF area).
No...i guess the KLX is not scarce in Houston. For an '07 they wanted about $5000 otd. So I saved a little by getting the '06. I plan on keeping this bike a long while, so a year older will not matter much to me. The Dealer is very close by and they are good folks.....that can mean a lot.
I will have many questions...Im sure. And I appreciate advice from everyone !!!!
