i havent put more than 2 miles on my trakmasters but i did take the bike out for a quick ride this Sun. (it was 30F) i ended up tryin to ride on a snowmobile track in a field and surprisingly the bike kept forward momentum.. that is until i hit a soft spot and sunk the rear in to the number plates. lol
id guess a basic rule of thumb for a good mud tire is space between the lugs..the bigger the space the easier the tire will shed the mud instead of caking up and becoming useless.

Trust me I tried to clean off that white stuff, only to realize that they are white lines built into the tires. At least it doesn't look like this.

Or this.

AaaaaaaaHaaaaaaaa I knew it wasn't just by accident.

+1 on the D606's. I've been very happy with them.

Nice pics & views... I think we may have found our next GROUP KLX ride location!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the 606's look pretty sweet, I'm gonna check out the Trackmasters to. At least I can norrow it down from there. Thanks guys. This is just one of the thousands of trail the Blues provide. Lots of spots with fishing and camping to. It would be a perfect spot for a GROUP KLX ride. My family owns an R.V. park and tent area just at the base of the Blues, first trails 15 minutes away. Anyway gonna change the oil and go ride. Ir's 52 out and with the extra hour of light It's riding season. Here is the trail head by the RV park. The river is great fishing, dollys, rainbows and white fish. And the trail gets better from here.

I've been using the pirelli m21's they work great in the mud and roots. They are pretty soft and the pavement and sharp rock in the blues and cascades uses them up in a season. I'm going to try the Kendas. If they work there half the price of pirellies.
