This is my stock headpipe that I ground down both welds on the front and rear of inside the headpipe to help it flow better. It definitely helped out a TON overstock. It will all 2006-2009 models. I also took the heatshield off because I got tired of it and I thought it looked better without out. The mounts for the heatshield have been ground off. The whole pipe has been flapwheeled so its not beautiful but it does the trick and flows much better than stock.

I bought the header, but my wife wanted the heat shield so I derestricted the one on the bike. So its for sale once again.

The header flange was welded entirely as material has been removed to improve flow, the overlap inside the rear flange was chamfered to reduce exhaust turbulance, and then polished it.

The header when combined w/ other mods does improve performance significantly.

The 'Try it before you buy it' still applies.
