I was taking a freeway on-ramp and saw an object floating in front of me, I figured it was best to hit it instead of laying the bike over to avoid it. Turns out the car in front of me lost it's hub cab and it was spinning like a top from strong winds. Hit me right in the fairing and I punched it out of the way of my head. Here's the damage:

I've been gone for few days. The Rack is a Nomadic tail rack. The hand guards are Cyra with the Long reach option. I had to do some work to make them work. Added spacers to keep them out from the bars, and rerouted the front brake cable a little. All these things are generic, you have to make them work.

 

My plate is right on the air box:
