Ya 'function over form' .
I think your first thought hit the mark. Everybody has a slightly different definition of beauty, but with some the differenceis not so slight. If you saw my exhaust, that would definitely drive the point home. [8D]

Just having some fun. I think the Acerbis is one of those 'function over form' or maybe character over beauty type of products though
To answer the next question.
Does the Acerbis tank just bolt on or do you need to some modifications? sorry if this has been gone over before.
Yes,the tankjust bolts on and the radiator fan stays on also.
It comes with the gas cap and petcock.
The choke is hard to get to(a close fit ) but works ok.

I have some bad news regarding this tank!

Clarke states that the Tool was ruined last week and has to be remade.

It will be at least 6 weeks before it will be ready.

If you haven't already gotten a refund, let us know if you need one now.

We will still keep our lists for future reference.

Sorry about this!

Works for me. I took the two 33 oz bottles in my camel back, didn't even notice them in there. And I also had two of the 22 oz bottles in the pelican case. That's 110 ounces of extra gas. Quick someone figure out how far I can ride on that if I get 60 mpg. Come on guys I hate math. That's your assignment for today.

As always, should you or any of your force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. Good luck.

I thought these sort of tanks were blow-moulded like bottles etc, if so then it's a big solid aluminum block type mould and it doesn't get lost, break, or the tool went homeward, it sounds like they have more important things to do, say a crf 250 long range tank maybe. I worked in blow moulding and this is a delay, nothing less, nothing more, why cant they just say so and when they'll get around to the klx 250 mould thank you very much, don't want to be negative, but that excuse is as pile of ****.
