Everything is a trade-off. It's hard to beat the TM-II for off-road traction.

I actually do have a 606 that I'm waiting to try as soon as my TM-II wears out, along with a set of Bridgestone E660 and E661's. Sorry for the suggestion - just though the TM-II might hook up well in the PNW. I guess I'm a little different in that I like to experiment and try new stuff.

To be honest, I was going to try the TM's myself depending on how well these 606's do. I'm just so happy with them right now that i couldnt possibly move on from them. But you never know if you dont try

Well even though I only have a 1.7 mile commute to work, I do have a dozen sharp twisty corners and I hit them pretty hard this morning and I didn't feel a bit uneasy. They gripped like a pro.

My bald tires grip well on sharp corners at 15 mile an hr deej

My Trakmaster rear is wearing incredibly well. Better even than the 50/50 Cheng Shin I had on there. At 2100 miles its well worn but handles the pavement great and is still a monster in the dirt, it just hooks up and goes! Besides its only a $40 tire. My riding lately has been I'd say 70/30 more towards pavement due to commuting to work.

My TM-2's are sitting next to me now as i installed the D-607's as i run mostly road for my commutes. The TM's I think are pretty squirrely on the road but had had some vibes with them as i was running a rim lock in the rear as i ripped the valve stems out of 3 tubes even at 25 psi i put in a rim lock and it is only street tolerable for a few miles before dipping back into the trails.....I'll keep the 607's for my "wanna-be" street racer side and if i know i'm gonna load her in the truck for my 100 mile trip to where the real off road is then i'll slap on the TM's .....like Deej said it might take an hour tops to slap a set on.
