15T sprocket installed, first impression
Sorry, no pictures. I did this the lazy way....$25.00 later, the dealer had it installed.
If you are running larger displacement and log considerable time on the slab, I highly recommend this mod. I could only feel a slight difference in gears 1 through 5. Sixth is where you feel a pronounced difference, but nothing my setup can't handle.
As luck would have it, this mod coincided with an RPM gage install, so results at 60MPH in 6th gear are as follows.
14T sprocket: 5900 RPM
15T sprocket: 5400 RPM
Keep in mind that I'm running with 300cc, Wiseco piston and mild grind cams, so results will vary. I feel this sprocket compliments larger bore setups for street use. I don't recommend it for off road use because the sprocket comes awefully close to the metal guide inside of the chain guard.
