Pretty cheap compared to the 606 but after these are worn down I'm still going back to Dunlop. I'm sure these tires are going to get plugged up with mud...........I mean if I ever go in the mud, but still.

It's easy for Deej. He carries a spray bottle and rags and make stops every 2 or 3 miles to wipe everything down, including his boots! He allso keeps a trimmed down scrubber style door mat in his Pelican case to clean the soles of his boots at each stop.It garners some pretty interestingexpressions from service station attendants

Keep us posted on the Kenda's. My friend rides with them and he thought they felt very squirrely for the first 150 miles. The soft rubber compound makes the tire flex more than our Dunlop D606's. He said he likes them now, but it did take some getting use to.

SOFT? When i had them i thaught they felt like a harder compound.... thats why they lasted longer..... deej your gonna have those fora long time.... BEWARE on wet asphalt..... they slide ALOT more and easily on the wet..... it will lock up quicker... the 606s grab wet asphalt good.... those dont!!!!

Deej I have had the Kenda 270's for the last year and I like them so much I have another 270 to replace
the rear tire waiting to be put on. I do not ride a lot of mud with them, I use dunlop 756,s for that on the WR

Definitely be careful on the wet pavement. I had a set of those before I discovered the Trak Master II's and while they work pretty well for about everything you can throw at them, they are pretty weird on the pavement, or so I thought and will skid easily there. I still prefer the Trak Master II's for off-road. Deej, you ought to try a set of the TM's before you go back to the 606.

I would think so too. If you look at the TM its lugs are even farther apart than the 606. I don't know.My riding seems to be 50/50 lately. Thus the Kenda which I think is a 50/50 tire. I guess it depends where you want the tire to fail the least. If I'm out on a trail and the tire doesn't do as good I might just have to make a couple of runs at it. If I'm on the street and the tire decides to slip, the run may be the car behind me over my head. No thanks.
