Richard whats up over on your side of the planet my carburetor Brother
I read that, what made me not go too far with it was he said he used a
28 pilot and the smallest one I could find by keihin was a 35
I have a 45 pilot and a 168 main with a dvr needle so i thought while I am waiting on jets and needles give it a try. (nada) super lean down low 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and at wot under a load it got stupid and went rich 8.7 to 9.3 air fuel ratio.
On the dr650's we set up we use a fcr 39 and the jetting is 155M 38P emp needle 4 clip they are bad *** on that bike.
on the 250 I have a 155M 52P emp needle and about 1.5 turns out on the slow air from 1/4 throttle to 1/2 throttle leaner than I would like I am going to try a emn needle and see if I can rich en up the bottom to about 12.8
not under a load
Peace be with you and tune on
Bill

Last test ride for the day
looks like for this temp 48f I have arrived
I can see when it hits 90f
I will have to change the main to a 148
and the pilot to a 48 to keep it in tune

Default update

Here is a update on the install
Because of the weather I have not been able to go out and
ride and do final tuning
But the bike has been setting for weeks and it starts right up
even with out a choke
I start it up about every 2 weeks
all you have to do is twist the throttle a couple of times
to give it a squirt hit the button and she fires right up.
