The nozzles start at size 30 and go up in increments of 5 from there. The 40mm had a 70 nozzle in it (!)

Here's the chart I'd found online and posted elsewhere here before:

Thankx for posting up the chart
I am going to get a ethanol test kit and see what our gas around here has
in it
The different nozzles is a great feature on the mikuni's
If I can't catch a break in the weather around here
I will have to put the klx on the dyno to do my Wot jetting,
I would rather do it in real world but I don't like ridning in 30 degree temps
cause when it hits 90 again it will have to be changed again.
Thats what i like about my bike I can read the air fuel ratio in real time
and change it going the road while I am riding makes it real easy.
cheers my friend

Those things are nice I have installed about 6 of them on clients bikes
it gives a shot to each intake valve down side that I can see is it is like
90 bucks for a little piece of brass although I would love to have one
I don't know if that will happen
it would be cool if you could modify one of the mikuni nozels to do a dual squirt pattern
still waiting on my new needle and jets
cheers Bill.
another thought
I am going to have to throw another 40 bucks at the fcr for the crf150 mod
for the fcr
as of 2008 Honda who owns keihin decided to repair the bog in the cfr for there carb
they came up with a better suited pump diaphragm and a new design pump bowl cover which
relocates the ap check valve form the bottom of the main fuel bowl to the bottom of the ap bowl/cover
resulting in a more aggressive squirt eliminating the off idle snap bog.
on the fcr-1 35 like I have there is no leak jet you have to control the squirt through the ap diaphragm, linkage,
and pump bowl
just more kaka to deal with
onward through the fog
bill

Greetings
I got to mess with some needles and jets a little bit today
It is awesome to hear that 250 really waking up
throttle response is pretty wild
the closer you get to max cylinder pressure the engine sounds
very different it is very snappy but I am still far away from getting that across the board this could take all winter
when I get this sorted out I think the next step might be to up the compression to 12:1 that would give the bottom end some more ***** to be sure

peace be with you happy holidays

I think mine sounds sort of like a 2 stroke at WOT..maybe a stock muffled 400cc or something. It's a different sound than your typical throaty thumper
