Thats it right there, why i bought the klx.... i dont like the looks of the drz... the klx looks like a dirt bike more so than the drz to me at least. HAHA great thread guys, and we managed to keep it clean.

+1 I don't think the DRZ looks good at all.

I have had the privilage?spelling? of riding both...my riding buddy has a drz400 (e s i dunno), but IG is right, the DRZ makes a lot more horses, the front will come up in 2nd just with the throttle...BUT the little KLX handles the trails and ruts a lot better. I feel the DRZ is top heavy and therefor feels harder to handle in the tight stuff, but I would love the extra power, just not the extra weight and higher center of gravity. BTW he rode my KLX and loves it in the rough stuff too, but it's not quick enuf for him. I'm thinking when this engine goes, perhaps I'll put the big bore kit in and have the best of both.

Getting the usual Deja Vu from this thread. Of course other sites have Husky vs. KTM, Honda vs. Yamaha and don't get me started on the Caravan vs. Grand Caravan debate. Boy that one got ugly quick!!!
