Default Just got my boots

Just got back from the post office with a brand new pair of Sidi Crossfire boots.

I'm walking around the office wearing them in a pair of shorts

Life is GOOD!

hahaha, good way to break them in for sure. Congrats. I am happy so far with the sidi boot and actually any break in was not an issue. (vertigo corsa air)

I'm sure that is quite the fashion statement.
You must be an engineer... Ha

Quite the fashion statement. I was threatening to wear them to dinner! They made me take them off. Four and a half ours in them and my feet were not killing me. Not the most comfortable but not anywhere as bad as ski boots used to be.
Not quite an engineer. Learned all that technical stuff then got into the scuba industry instead. I work for myself and my only employee rides a 600 crotch rocket so she thinks the boots are cool. I did to a quick ride to check how well I could feel the shifts and if the toe fits under the shift lever. I was surprised that I could feel shifts resonably well. I did decide wider footpegs are in order.
Cheers Jim

Sweet Jim, you will love em.

Sidi Crossfires are the best MX boot I've had when looking at the comfort versus protection versus feel equation.

They only let my wallet down.

I needed no break in on my crossfires, they felt ready to go out of the box. I scrored a sweet deal on Ebay for them, $330 shipped to my door, new in box.

I must have hooked up with the same guys 2k1. I got mine for $335. also got a 10% discount code that I can share with everyone tommorrow as it is at work. Not sure if its a one time use or everyone can use it but it expires in July and I dont know if I will be buying anything from them before then so why not share the love.

Now, if only, Sidi made their boots in even sizes. I need a size eight and ended up purchasing a pair of Alpinestars Tech 8's. I like them now, but there was (for me, at least) a lengthy break-in period! I REALLY wanted the Sidi's!

Sidi makes there boots to the Euro foot standard so the size 10 you got was really size 44 which is approximatly a 10 but more like a 9.75. I sell dive fins that are from Italy. They cover two euro sizes per fin and 1.5 US sizes per fin. A 44-45 is a 9.5-10.5US I wear a 10.5 boot so the size 45 was perfect for me.

I am posting the discount cupon on seperate thread for max exposure if anyone is looking for it.
Cheers Jim
