I just ordered mine on the phone. Right now they are out of stock on the blacks, should have more on Monday. They have naturals on hand. Sounds like a hot item for them - can't wait to get mine and see how far I can go on it.

Anybody know the dry weight of the IMS tank versus the dry weight of the stock metal tank? I read through all 11 pages with no luck (unless I missed it).

I didn't weigh mine when I did the swap, but from hefting them next to each other, I would guestimate the weight savings at about 3 pounds. Then add in the 6.5 lbs for the extra gallon of gas, and you are looking at a net weight gain of about 3.5 lbs with a full tank of gas...

I read the link you posted just now but couldn't find the dry weight. The guy said he was going to do it but never followed up with it. Again, I might be totally missing it but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there.

Quote:
"With both brass fittings out on each tank the weigh in went like this. The IMS tank weighed in at 3.5 lbs. while the stock tank weighed in at 6.0 lbs."
