If its like the '07, the oil changes are not bad. Most folks only do the filters every three oil changes. And the air filter is like a 30 second job too.

And the valve adjusts are dead simple with the rocker arm screw adjust - just lightly bottom out the screw adjuster with the feeler gauge underneath, tighten up the lock nut, and that's it.

No looking up shim sizes in tables, no figuring out the shim size of the shim in there currently, and no having to source a new shim if you don't already have the right size, and messing with the cam chain tensioner, removing the cams, and putting it all back together and re-timing the cams afterwards, and then double checking to make sure you did it right and if you calculated the wrong size, do it all over again.

Yeah boy, that KTM maintenance is hell, I tell you.

The valve adjustmentintervals on the LC4 is the same as the KLX. But as Nobreaks said, much easier. I have put around 1500 miles on my KTM and so far it has been perfect. I'll let you know if I ever change my mind. I like it so much I am going to geta new Super Duke. The trailer is nice. Here is something to go with it.

man, with the right removals and installs, the KLX just looks sick. I like your no rack, no strap, mirrors w/guards and aggressive tires. oh, the KTM isn't bad to look at either.
Here's a dumb one, whats the strap even for? Picking the bike up after a dump?

You got it... Moab. Its west (take the road between the mcdonalds and burger king and just keep going until you reach the Colorado River.....).
We were up at Greenwater snowmobiling last winter. It was on the best kind of sled.... my friends sled. He is now eyeing my 250. I think he is expecting me to buy another so I can reciprocate the favor
Hope to see ya on the trail sometime.
